So you are interested in a having a web site designed for your hobby, business or pleasure?
After many requests from friends and business associates I have decided to offer my services of building and designing web sites to the general public. My experience in design is one of building six different very successful sites of my own, plus others for clubs and individuals.
How do I build each site?
I have found that many sites are far too complicated. I design all my sites using Front-Page software. Go to

After choosing a site topic, the site owner (you) needs to send the designer (me) any text, stories, bio information and photos that you would like incorporated into the site. Internet delivery is preferred but I can also work with hard copies sent via the mail. Additional design thoughts will be requested.
A domain name needs to be chosen by site owner, such as…
Example: www.johnsmithblacksmithing.com.
I will then apply to see if that site name is available, if it is available, then after paying fees we will register it for you. If someone else has already chosen it, then we need to look for an alternate name. After paying appropriate fees in advance, the site will be designed. Time is usually 2-3 weeks. Typical sites can take up to 30 hours to design.
After the site is designed, developer will register site and publish it to the web.
What if you want to add photos or make small changes?
As the developer of the site, I will make reasonable changes for you as stated in the "maintenance fee" charge line stated below, for the life of the web site.
What if you no longer want the site?
All fees are to be paid yearly in advance and run for 12 months from the date of billing. At the time of renewal if the owner no longer wants the site published on the web, then at that point the site will be terminated.
If in the event of non- payment of annual, monthly or specific fees, the site will be terminated immediately.
How much will your site cost?
Prior to making the decision to offer my services, I did some research on the Internet to find out what others charge for the same services.
These are the first seven companies I came across for web design:
$299.00 per year
$900.00+ per year
$250.00 for 1 page, $685.00 for 6 pages, $50.00 per additional page
$300.00-$600.00 for 4-8 pages
$599.00
$600.00 starting price
$500+ starting price plus $100.00 per month maintenance
Site hourly work; $50.00- $200.00 per hour, $80.00-$100.00 per hour
MY FEES are listed on the next page. As you can see they are very reasonable based on the competition!
One last comment; I am aware that there are "cheap" corporation based web site "makers" out there. Please be aware that most if not all of these "cheap" offers come with a major web site concern! Each of them will make you a site BUT on YOUR site will be advertising FOR THEIR COMPANY! Personally nothing I would want on MY site.
