Thanks in no small part to my father, Norman Rau, I have been involved in the breeding, showing and or racing of pigeons for over 50 years, literally all my life. The number of stories I could tell and the number of friends that I have met are numerous. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. I have judged at the National level, held National Club Offices and entered my birds successfully in National shows. Today I breed, fly & show the following varieties; Please read the following before ordering Homers On April 1, 2010... as I always do I went to the lofts to feed and water the birds. That day was a day I will not forget... upon opening the coop door, I saw the carnage that was before me. Every one of my color birds was dead. 45 years of color breeding down the drain... I was sick. I later learned it was a mink who came back for more. Not only did I loose the birds but at this point had to return many deposits I had received for 2010 ybs. One buyer even called me back to ask if it was an April Fools joke.... alas it was not. In a prisoner loft I did have 4 pair of my new Black Tiger Grizzles, 1 pair of Saddles and a pair of Blue Bar grizzles. From these birds I can raise a limited number for those interested. He also did not touch my rollers ant tipplers. For all those that have ordered in the past ... I thank you.. it was a great ride! regards Karl Rau
