In 1973, I fulfilled my dream to one day race these athletes of the sky. Then I won a combine race with over 2000 birds,  later became the President of the NE Center Combine.

Due to our local club folding, I no longer race but continue to breed homers in rare colors.

I do try to fly out young birds from my colored homers, however with the proliferation of hawks in  the area that is becoming harder and harder.
